Safari Green Linen Shorts

Hey guys!
It is officially the start of spring break, and I will be going away for the week. I just wanted to add this to my blog before I stop for a break. This project was super easy and perfect addition to any wardrobe. These shorts are loose fitting linen shorts that are great for casual days out. I started by tracing a pattern off of a pair of loose fitting shorts I own and went from there.

I sewed the two sides together as well as adjusting and sewing the crotch area. When I was satisfied with the fit, I started with the decorations. I made belt loops to put my rope belt through which turned out wonderful. 

 Then I made pockets for the backside of the shorts and sewed them on. Once I finished this, it was complete. It ultimately took a few hours to complete. They are super comfortable and stylish for the summer or just lounging around.

 So here it is all finished and in an outfit. I hope to wear this on vacation. Thanks for reading and comment to see what you think! :)
