Surf Sock

Hey guys!
I know this is not clothing (obviously), but it was a request from my dad who loves to surf and has way too many surfboards. :) He just got another surfboard and needed a surf sock to protect it. I consented and we got some camo fleece fabric with a broadcloth thick fabric for the tip. We really needed stretchy terrycloth, but Joann and other fabric stores don't carry it stretchy. So, I traced the surfboard onto the fabric and sewed with a 4-5 inches seam allowance since it was super stretchy. I attached the broadcloth to the tip afterwards as the size it was. Also, at the bottom of the sock, I made it a drawstring with some rustic looking rope. To make the bottom area, I made it wider that the board bottom and had a 1" seam allowance. I hope you liked this different type of post. Comment what you think and thanks for reading!
